Allowed Dress Code: NEET 2019 Exam Hall Rules

NTA Rules for Dress Code NEET 2019 Exam: In the official information bulletin issued by the National Testing Agency, the NTA has clearly mentioned rules and regulation to follow at the time of appearing in the exam. In the Exam Center, the candidate has to bring ADMIT CARD, VALID ID PROOF, PHOTO.

The NTA has also listed some items which are not allowed in the examination hall. The allowed dress code for female and male candidates. The candidate appearing in NEET-UG 2019 written test has to follow rules and regulation of NTA.

In NEET 2018 Exam, the candidate not following the dress code rules has not allowed entering the examination hall. So, Kindly check the list of allowed Clothes, Dress Code for Female and Male candidates.

All the rules & regulation mentioned in the official brochure of NEET-UG 2019 has to follow or you shall not be allowed to enter the exam hall or you shall be asked to drop off the illegal items.

NEET 2019 Dress Code

The dress code is prescribed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). In NEET 2019 the candidate has to follow CBSE DRESS CODE. Check the list of clothes allowed (MALE and FEMALE) on the day of the written test. If you are Muslim/ Hindu/ Christian, Sindhi, Gujarati, Bengali religion check your allowed dress code.

NEET 2019: Allowed and Not Allowed Items

NTA NEET 2019 male/ female has to follow the strict dress code.

Male Candidate: Wear light color clothes – Jeans/ Pant/ Shirt (half sleeves only), the button of shirt should be medium size not big enough. The Kurta Paizama not allowed, Shoes are also not allowed. Wear only sleepers or sandals.

Female Candidate: Light clothes with half sleeves not having big buttons, brooch/badge, flower etc. with Salwar/ Trouser, Slippers, sandals with low heels are allowed. Shoes for the female candidate are also not allowed.

Allowed and Not allowed clothing

1. Slippers and Sandals only SHOES
2. Half T-Shirt, Shirt FULL SLEEVES Shirt or T-Shirts
3. Trousers Watches
4. Doctor Prescribed lens specs only Sun Glasses
5. Leggins Bracelets
6. Lowers Rings/ Chain/ Necklace etc. (any type of jewelry or ornaments)
7. Palazzo Hair Clips/ Rubber Bands etc.
8. Salwar Big buttons, brooch/badge T-Shirts
9. Kurti (Half-Sleeves) Saree (Married or Unmarried)
10. Top Bangles not allowed (only married can wear)
11. Mangal Sutra

Items to Carry with NEET 2019 Admit Card

The candidate is required to bring following at the examination centre

  1. Admit Card along with passport size photograph affixed on it;
  2. One Post Card Size Photograph affixed on the proforma >> What is NEET 2019 Proforma & how to Affix postcard photo
  3. One passport size photograph to be affixed on the attendance sheet. Candidates are advised not to bring any other item at the examination centres. There will not be any arrangement for safe keeping of any material at the centre. Neither CBSE nor centre will be responsible for any loss, delay etc.

Is Jeans allowed in NEET or not?

In NEET Exam 2019, Jeans Pants are allowed for Male and Female candidate. The Dress Code is very simple. Do not wear a scarf, cap, jacket, shoes, full Sleeves shirts during the exam.
