The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India has laid down important instruction to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to organize National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET)/ previously known as All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT).
Important Instruction NEET 2018
Before filling-up online form of NEET-UG 2018, you must follow the steps given below.
a) Download the official information bulletin of NEET 2018 and read it carefully.
b) Only ONLINE mode of application is accepted.
c) Mear applying and filling of NEET 2018 form doesn’t confirm your admission. The admission in MBBS/ BDS is based on the scorecard of NEET-UG 2018.
d) The Indian Nationals, NRI, OCI (Overseas Citizen of India), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) & Foreign Nationals are eligible to appear in NEET (UG)-2018 & also eligible for 15% All India Quota seats.
e) A maximum of 03 (Three) attempts are allowed for every candidate.
f) Age limit (Upper limit of 25 years for UR Category) and 30 year for OBC/ SC/ ST candidates.

Aadhaar Number NEET 2018 Rule
Indian Candidate: All Indian Candidate should have valid UIDAI Aadhaar Card/ Number. At the time of NEET 2018 form registration, you Name, Gender, DOB must match with Aadhaar Card details.
You Aadhaar Card details must also mathc with your School Details (Name/ Father’s Name/ DOB etc.).
You must correct your Aadhaar Card details online at UIDAI website.
If you don’t have valid Aadhaar Card/ Number. Please go to the nearest E-Mitra Kiosk/ UIDAI Aadhaar Enrolment Center, Post Office to get your Aadhaar Card.
Aadhaar Card not Required for: J&K, Assam & Meghalaya and NRI, OCI, PIO, Foreign Candidates.
ID Documents for J&K, Assam and Meghalaya Candidate: The candidate passing Class 12th Board from states of J&K, Assam & Meghalaya can provide one of the following ID: ration card number, passport number, bank account number or any other valid government identity. The candidate must also note that, you are not allowed to choose EXAM CITY outside your STATE.
Passport Number Mandatory: Filling the passport number is mandatory for foreign Nationals, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI’s), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO’s).
NEET 2018 Registration Process
After reading the complete information brochure of NEET 2018, you may have checked minimum eligibility criteria, education qualification, percentage in subjects (Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology), number of attempts rule, age limit, relaxation etc. Below is the process of online registration of NEET 2018 form.
Step 1: Fill the Online NEET-UG 2018 Application Form and note down random generated Registration Number
Step 2: Login at CBSENEET.nic.in with Registration Number and DOB and Upload photo and signature.
Step 3: Make Payment of Fee using Netbanking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Wallets (as per the services available).
Step 4: Download and Print the complete online form and Confirmation Page after submitting the NEET 2018 Fee online
NOTE: The applicant has to enter valid mobile number for future communication i.e Admit Card information, result, counselling or any information regarding NEET 2018 Entrance. So, you are adived to enter your parent mobile number and valid email-id. Only one application can be filling uisng one mobile number and email-id. So, if you are filling your daughter and son NEET form, please have two mobile number and two email-id.
(i) Proof of NEET-2018 fee submission.
(ii) Computer Generated Confirmation Page of online Application
(iii) Copy of the System generated Self Declaration in respect of candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and J & K who have opted for seats under 15% All India Quota.
Uploading Signature/ Photo
There may be error/ problem at the time of uploading scanned photograph and signature. Please check the minimum size/ maximum size allowed.
10 Kb to 100 Kb: The Scanned image of the Photograph of the candidate should be in JPG format
3 kb to 20 Kb: The Scanned image of Signature of the candidate should be in JPG format.
Application Form Fee
The candidate must check application form fee of NEET 2018. Do not choose wrong category becuase it may lead to cancellation of your form.
Rs 1400/- INR for Unreserved (UR) and Other-backward category (OBC).
Rs 750/- INR for SC/ ST and PH candidates.

You may face difficulty in filling online NEET 2018 form at www.cbseneet.nic.in website. The error “We regret the inconvenience caused. Please try again after some time.” is due to the server down, heavy traffic on the cbseneet.nic website. Sometimes, there is error in the payment process, login to the candidate section or slow loading of website.
