National Eligibility Entrance Test is conducted by CBSE, once a year for the admission in MBBS/ BDS courses throughout India. In the latest news, the Govt. of India has proposed “National Testing Agency” for common admission test i.e Medical, Engineering, Management, Law, Commerce, UGC NET, Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) etc. NEET UG 2018 is held for the MBBS, BDS admission. Ministry of Human Resouce Development, Government of India has launched National Testing Agency official website so that student seeking admission in NEET, JEE, MCAT, CLAT, GPAT course can fill their online application form. This portal is maintained by the National Informatics Center (NIC). NEET-UG stands for National Eligibility Entrance Test for Undergraduate Medical and Dental course. The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE New Delhi is the core organization that conducts NEET, CTET, NET and other entrance tests. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is the upcoming authority to conduct/ publish the result, counselling for the NEET, JEE Main, CTET, MCAT, CLAT, GPAT etc.
The Govt. of India has also funded 25 crores to start National Testing Agency. The office of NTA is in New Delhi and a team of 20 senior executive works under the IAS cadre officer.
