OJEE Odisha MBBS/ BDS Counselling, Admission 2018: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination & Directorate of Medical Education & Training is going to conduct online counselling for MBBS/ BDS admission for the academic year 2018-2019. According to the NEET UG Information Bulletin, Odisha state is participating in 15% All India Quota Seat counselling. So, 85% Seats of Government/Private Medical/Dental Colleges are available under the Odisha State Counselling Committee.
Director General of Health Sciences (DGHS) is going to fill 15% seats in Govt/ Private Deemed University with All India Quota counselling at Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Directorate of Medical Education & Training Bhubneshwar, OJEE shall provide state Merit list after the declaration of NEET-UG 2018 results. The State Rank/ Merit is provided by CBSE/ National Testing Authority to the OJEE/ Directorate of Medical Counselling Committee.
Odisha MBBS/ BDS Counselling Notification 2018
Students from the Odisha state has to download the official brochure at (http://www.dmetorissa.gov.in or https://ojee.nic.in). Admission in UG Medical & Dental course is based on the state merit/ rank obtained in NEET-UG 2018 entrance test. The candidate has to register online application of NEET at cbseneet.nic.in. Appear in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-UG 2018) and score good marks.

Age Limit: The candidate must have attained a minimum of 17 years as on 31 December 2018. If your are born on 1 Jan 2002, then also you are not eligible. Kindly check the eligibility criteria carefully.
The upper age limit is 25 years for UR (General Candidate), 5 years is relaxed for ST/ ST candidate. There is no OBC category in Odisha state.
Domicile: The candidate must be the permanent native of Odisha State.
Education Qualification: The candidate must have passed 12th board (Science) with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually.
Percentage: You must have scored below percentage in all together (Physics, Chemistry & Biology subjects).
General Candidate: 50% marks
ST/ SC: 40%
UR-PWD candidate: 54%
SC-PWD, ST-PWD, OBC-PWD: 40% marks

- General (GE) – 131 (50th percentile)
- Physically Challenged(locomotory disability of lower limbs)(PC-GE) – 118 (45th percentile)
- Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Scheduled Caste (SC)-107 (40th percentile).
- For Physically challenged candidates of SC/ST category, 107 (40th percentile).
Seat Reservation Policy
Odisha JEE & Directorate of Medical Education & Training under the Dept. of Health & Family Welfare, is organizing MBBS/ BDS admission counselling based on NEET UG 2018 score-card.
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 12% seats are reserved for ST category
- Scheduled Caste (SC): 8% seats are reserved for SC category
- Physically Challenged (PC): 3% seats are reserved for PH candidate
- Ex-Servicemen (ES): 3% seats are reserved
- Green Card Holders (GC): 5% seats are reserved.
Odisha MBBS/ BDS Counselling Process
The candidate has to follow counselling procedure of MBBS/ BDS 2018.
Step 1: Visit official website of OJEE (www.ojee.nic.in)
Step 2: Go to the “MBBS/ BDS Admission” section.
Step 3: Now, you have to create account, with new username and password. Dont share these credential with anyone.
Step 4: Login with the username and password.
Step 5: The candidate has to fill up the online application form and submit by clicking the “submit” button
Step 6: You have to deposit counselling Fee of Rs 1000/- through online mode.
Step 7: The candidate has to attend the document verification session and get his/her online application authenticated.
