Good news for NEET 2018 aspirants, NEET question paper with SAME questions (SINGLE SET) in the different language (10 languages) has introduced from NEET 2018 onwards. Last year NEET Exam, there was an issue with the question paper sets. The Court has said that it is very difficult to check the competence of students when there are the different question in NEET entrance exam.
CBSE said that in NEET UG 2018 there shall be only single SET in 12 languages (Hindi, English, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Gujarati, Bengali, Oriya, Marathi, Assammee, Urdu). So, total 180 similar questions from Physics, Chemistry, Zoology & Botany subjects will be there in the MBBS/ BDS entrance exam 2018.
If we talk about the NEET-2017 exam, there were total 6 different question papers where there i.e APRA (English + Hindi), ASAT (English + Hindi), PARA (English + Vernacular), PITA (English + Vernacular), TARA (English + Hindi), and VANI (English + Hindi). These 6 question paper sets were further divided into 21 SETS given below.
- APRA (English + Hindi: Paper Code: (A, B, C, D)
- ASAT (English + Hindi):Paper Code: XX
- PARA (English + Vernacular): Paper Code: PP, QQ, RR, SS
- PITA (English + Vernacular):Paper Code: A, P, W/ B, Q, X/ C, R,Y/ D, S, Z
- TARA (English + Hindi): Paper Code: (P, Q, R, S)
- VANI (English + Hindi): Paper Code: (W, X, Y, Z)
But in the NEET-2018 there will be only SINGLE question paper with different sets (the questions in the sets will be randomly distributed. So, only one question paper will be translated into 12 different languages. This will make competition equal and this will lead to fair marking/ scoring without Normalization Process.
