Rajasthan NEET UG (Medical/Dental) Counselling-2018 (MBBS, BDS), RUHS NEET 2018 Notification, Seat Matrix: Rajasthan University of Health Science, Jaipur has been given responsibility to conduct counselling of MBBS/ BDS course for admission in 2018-2019 academic year. According to the NEET 2018 Notification, 15% of Rajasthan Govt Medical Colleges is reserved for All India Quota and these seats that be filled by MCC (Director General of Health Science – DGHS). The reservation rule is applicable only to 85% seats in Govt as well as private colleges.
Rajasthan NEET 2018 Notification
Central Board of Secondary Education is conducting NEET-UG 2018 entrance test for Undergraduate (Medical & Dental) course admission in MCI/ DCI recognized colleges and universities. The candidate domicile of Rajasthan has to check their State Merit/ Rank for admission to 85% seat quota reserved for only Rajasthan State aspirants. As per DGHS, 15% Govt. Colleges seats are reserved for All India Quota (MERIT/ RANK) candidates.

The admission in Rajasthan Govt/ Private Medical/ Dental colleges is based on the following rule. You must check the three important points if you are seeking admission in MBBS/ BDS courses.
Rule 1: The selection of candidate in MBBS/ BDS courses in any college is based on NEET 2018 scorecard (All India Merit) and State Merit list prepared by “RUHS Jaipur – Office of Chair UG Admission”.
Rule 2: The candidate must be eligible under the law of RUSH, Medical Education, Rajasthan – You must check MBBS/ BDS eligibility requirement for Rajasthan MBBS/ BDS admission 2018.
Rule 3: The reservation of seats as per the Merit/ Caste is applicable. Kindly check the reservation rule/ Management Quota Seats, NRI quota, OBC/ ST/ SC seats reservation etc. the general as well as reserved seats excepting the seats belonging to the category
Document/ Certificate Required
Below are the list of all important document to carry at the time of college reporting or if you are asked in counselling. You shoould possess these document in orginal form also.
- NEET 2018 Score Card
- Allotment Letter
- Mark sheet of 10 + 2 (senior school certificate examination) or its equivalent
- Date of Birth Certificate: 10th class mark sheet / certificate or any other equivalent certificate showing the date of birth
- Mark sheet of secondary examination (10th class)
- Certifícate/ Document providing your eligibility as selected by you at the time of filling on-line registration form- (I to XII) – as given under serial 3 in the information booklet
- Copy of photo ID (driving licence / PAN card / Voter ID / Govt. or PSU card / School ID card / 12th class examination admit card / Aadhaar card)
- Valid Caste certificate, sub-category certificate, if applicable
- Domicile certifícate, if applicable
- 4 Passport size photo same as affixed on registration form
- PH certificate, if applicable
- WDP / WPP certificates, if applicable
- Bond as per the applicable Proforma
- Any other relevant certificate(s)
Additional documents for candidates applying for NRI seats
- Certificate in the prescribed proforma (available on the respective college website) on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 100/- by father / mother / guardian certifying the contents of the registration / application form
- Duly notarized Undertaking in the prescribed proforma (available on the respective college website) by NRI father / mother / guardian, alongwith valid NRI status document. NRI undertaking must have been issued on or after date of NEET 2018 examination i.e. 06.05.2018.
- Address of parents and local (Indian) guardian
The respective colleges will ensure the NRI status of the candidates at their own level.
Raj State NEET Eligibility
The age of the candidate must be minimum of 17 years as on 31 December 2018. Also check upper age limit, relaxation available for you.
For MBBS: The Senior Secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination, which is equivalent to 10+2 after a period of 12 years study, the last 2 years of study must comprise of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology with English as a compulsory subject.
For BDS: The Senior Secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination, which is equivalent to 10+2 after a period of 12 years study, the last 2 years of study must comprise of Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English as a compulsory subject.
General (UR Category): The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology / Biotechnology at the qualifying examination and in addition must have obtained minimum of 50 percentile and come in the merit list of NEET 2018
Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes: The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology / Biotechnology at the qualifying examination and of 40 percentile in NEET 2018
For PH Category: A candidate with locomotor disability of lower limbs only must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST- PH/OBC-PH taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology / Biotechnology at the qualifying examination and in addition must have obtained a minimum of 45 percentile for General-PH and 40 percentile for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH.
(a) 15% of the seats in Govt. Colleges will be reserved in MBBS/BDS Course to be filled up on all India basis conducted by DGHS.
(b) 24 seats, 4 in each State Medical College (6 Govt. colleges) of Rajasthan of MBBS Course will be reserved for candidates selected under the Central Government pool. The Central Government Authority will fill up these seats.
Note: – The remaining seats shall be treated as the State Seats and will be filled up with merit cum- preference in Rajasthan MBBS & BDS Admissions 2017 with following reservations: –
(i) 16% seats, after excluding the seats of subclause (a), (b) above are reserved for natural born (not adopted) candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste as notified in the Presidential Order for the State of Rajasthan and who fulfill conditions as laid down in Clause-1. Not less than 25% out of the above-reserved seats shall be filled from girl candidates belonging to Schedule Caste.
(ii) 12% seats, after excluding the seats of sub-clauses (a), (b) above are reserved for natural born (not adopted) candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe as notified in the Presidential Order for the State of Rajasthan and who fulfill conditions as laid down in Clause-1. Not less than 25% out of the above-reserved seats shall be filled from girl candidates belonging to Schedule Tribe.
(iii) 45% of ST seats are to be for ST candidates who are bonafide residents of the scheduled area (tribal area), not less than 25% out of these seats shall be filled from girl candidates belonging to the Scheduled area (tribal area).
(iv) 21% seats, after excluding the seats of sub-clauses (a), (b) above are reserved for those belonging to Other Backward Classes NCL as notified in the Presidential Order for the State of Rajasthan and who fulfill conditions as laid down in Clause-1. Not less than 25%, out of the above-reserved seats shall be filled from girl candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes. Candidate must submit OBC Certifícate issued by competent authority in Rajasthan State (issued on or after 15.07.2016 and clearly indicating ‘Non-Creamv Laver’).
Note: The candidates from Jat community from Bharatpur and Dholpur are not considered under OBC NCL category.
(d) 1% seats (in Government colleges) after excluding the seats of sub clauses (a), (b) are reserved on priority cum merit for the natural born (not adopted) sons/daughters of Defence personnel (serving / retired) of Rajasthan Origin, and para military personnel (serving / retired) of Rajasthan origin, horizontally. 50% out of these reserved seats shall be reserved for girls, unfilled seats will be reverted back to boys category.
As per the Kendriya Sainik Kalyan Board, the defence seat is admissible for only one member of the family. Only wards of Defence Personnel from Army, Air Force & Navy from serial 1 to 4 below are eligible for the scheme.
The student must check minimum qualifying marks/ percentage required for MBBS/ BDS eligibility. The candidate belonging to UR/ GENERAL and OBC Creamy layer must score 50 percentile (131 marks and above) so that they can fill the counselling form.

Fill NEET 2018 Rajasthan State Form
Registration of NEET-UG 2018 form is available on official website www.cbseneet.nic.in, the student has to first download information bulletin (Hindi or English language) and read it carefully. Check the minimum eligibility, rules and regulation, exam date, start of online application, correction in NEET 2018 form etc.
After registration, you have to appear in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2018 so that you can get score card/ and State Rank. The top 15% merit holder can avail 15% ALL INDIA QUOTA based on the MCC counselling as per DGHS rules.
After the declaration of NEET 2018 results, the candidate must check official website of RUHS NEET 2018 counselling for Timetable, brochure. Read it very carefully and fill the registration form, fill choices in ROUND-I/ II/ III if applicable.
